And she’s in!

Transplant Day 8:45am

I often tell people with Doris “what you see is what you get”. During this entire process she’s been cheerful and faithful. She’s never given up and rarely complains.

Getting her IV put in wasn’t pleasant but besides that the process has been pretty straight forward.

She has a great team of surgeons, nurses and anesthesiologists. She’ll be in for around three hours. I’ll let you know how it goes.
